Mya Rose will make its debut at Harrogate Bridal Show this September, introducing a contemporary bridal collection designed and made in the UK. Founded by former Temperley London designer Claire Riley, the brand combines modern, romantic silhouettes, textured detailing and sustainable fabrics in beautiful made-to-order pieces, to offer boutiques a distinctive, sustainable addition to their bridal offering.

The brand was created out of a passion for romantic design.  With a background in womenswear, Claire found herself instinctively veering away from more casual, commercial briefs and always felt a pull towards creating pieces with beauty and drama.  While designing she found herself drawn to sketching beautiful, elegant dresses with dramatic trains and veils.  Bridal wasn't a career decision so much as a creative instinct—‘it was where I realised I could design most authentically.”

Claire began planning what this looked like, and how she would realise the brand.  From the outset, she made a conscious decision not to chase trends or reinterpret gowns that already exist. Instead, creating a collection that feels authentic to her own aesthetic—design-led, contemporary and romantic, with individuality at its heart.

The debut collection explores the relationship between strength and softness. Architectural lines are softened by fluid draping, while sculptural silhouettes sit alongside romantic textures and delicate detailing. Embroidered lace, soft satins and sheer silks are layered to create depth, movement and quiet luxury.
